I co-founded BetAIR to create smart, low-cost air filter kits that help protect vulnerable populations from smoke, allergens, and other contaminants. By partnering with local organizations and the community, we secure funding to provide these kits at no cost to underserved groups, promoting health and environmental equity.

Our Mission:

Co-founded nonprofit providing low-cost, DIY smart air filters for wildfire-affected vulnerable communities
Developed prototype of novel smart technology that tracks air quality in real time and toggles fans on/off depending on AQI
Strive to improve respiratory health, reduce the adverse effects of wildfire smoke, and promote environmental sustainability

Secured grants from Oregon Department of Forestry & Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation & fundraised to provide kits at no cost
- Distributed across Oregon including Portland, East County, Bend, La Pine, Prineville, Sisters, Warm Springs, Klamath Falls, Ashland, and Talent.
Presented at schools to spread awareness and teach about the dangers of poor air quality
- Findley Elementary, Jacob Wismer Elementary, Indian Hills Elementary, Montessori School of Beaverton
Collaborated with community/national organizations to improve respiratory health & promote environmental sustainability
- Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation, American Lung Association, Clean Air Allies, Oregon State University ASPIRE Center, Team Oregon Build, Safe Air Oregon, Meals on Wheels, Deschutes County Health, Ashland Fire Dept, Klamath County Public Health
