I am a student researcher, community advocate, and performing artist whose interdisciplinary work bridges science, social impact, and the arts.
My research focuses on studying non-coding RNAs in cancer progression and pathways to improve brain function in neurodegenerative diseases. I have worked on independent research projects including computationally designed peptides for cystic fibrosis and emotion-detection tools for Parkinson’s and have presented at various forums.
As co-founder of BetAIR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I champion the cause of affordable smart air filtration systems to serve wildfire-affected communities. Through advocacy and partnerships with local agencies, government officials, and schools, we're working to bring clean air solutions to vulnerable populations across Oregon.
Recognized as a National Speech and Debate Academic All-American, Oregon’s top-ranked Orator, and a TEDxYouth Speaker, I’ve learned that communication is one of the most powerful ways to create connections and inspire change. A classically trained Bharatanatyam dancer and IndianRaga Fellow, I have performed at over 90 events nationwide. My dedication to youth arts continues to guide my efforts to build bridges between cultures and generations.
I remain deeply committed to civic leadership and equity through my work with local initiatives and community organizations. I aim to continue blending my passions for science, advocacy, and the arts to create a lasting impact on public health and global well-being. (ons)
